A Tribute from My Dad Miles' Grandpa

Created by Karen 10 years ago
Tribute from Ted Miles was the best grandson any grandparents could possibly wish for, kind and gentle warm and loving. He was the most thoughtful person one could meet. His generosity was immense. He gave of himself freely to help anyone, withought thought of reward, his thanks were in the joy of being able to have helped them out of trouble and seeing the thanks in their eyes. He was the epitome of altruism. He was more like a son to us. We watched him grow from his birthday through boyhood to manhood. Miles enjoyed life to the full. He was a real sportsman, played Badminton like a true professional. He enjoyed his music and had great joy in playing his guitar, singing the songs he had composed. Miles excelled at Martial arts, progressing through the various belts with apparent ease proudly showing his bruises. His sense of humour was legendary – it knew no bounds! He was the life and soul of any party, his storytelling was hilarious. He was laughter personified a born raconteur. He was like the sun that rises every morning shedding its warmth and beauty on everyone it touched, bathing them in its brilliance, making the world seem a much better and brighter place. His passing has opened up a huge void in all our hearts. A brilliant light has been taken from our lives but a new star has been born in the heavens. We love you deeply Miles you are a truly free and loving spirit much too good to be on this planet. As it says in the beautifull ballet “Vincent” “This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you”. I have shouted at God for taking you back so early, but I thank him from the bottom of my heart for lending you to to us for those 25 beautiful years. Adios Milos. Adios. God keep you until we meet again.
