Miles (also known as Milo) was born on 14 February 1987. His untimely death on 22 April 2012 was a day when a huge light went out in the world. His love of music was immense, it was something he so enjoyed and was something he was really good at and it gave him hours of immense pleasure. He wrote such beautiful songs with such empathy for one so young. He lived in Spain for eight years and wrote and recorded some of his best music there. In L’Olleria where he lived, he would go down to the local recording studio of Juan Jose and Pere and here, in their studio, his work would come to life. Sadly he never realised how good he was at both writing and performing his songs. Miles was loving, kind and generous, he had the most wonderful sense of humour and was the life and soul of any gathering, a family meal or a party. He never realised how much he was thought of by others. Miles was very unassuming, he was a joy to know and to be in his company was something special and always memorable. Miles' Mum, Karen, says: "We love you Miles, you will always be carried with us in our hearts. We have your smile, your laugh and your music to help us through the dark times. "Miles, I know you would be happy in the knowledge you were helping other young people to get the most from music by your friends and family giving to Youth Music as a tribute to and a celebration of your life. We are so proud of you and all you have accomplished during the short time you were with us... Namaste Carino".
